No, but some games can be made in anime style, like fatal fury or gowcaiser. King of fighters games it is associated with like AOF are very anime-ish. I would love to see an AOF

Not really, Mortal Kombat is a video game, and anime applies to animations, mostly Japanese animations.
It's kind of like calling Super Mario Bros. a cartoon. It got turned into one, but originally it was just a game.
They might have made Mortal Combat into an anime, but originally it was just a game

Nope. The creators are American. Its about big scary men hitting other big scary men. Anime is thin pretty boy goes on an adventure.
