i read the book 'the island' by mary hislop and liked it so anything around that catergory.

Just a small correction, I think The Island was written by Victoria Hislop.
If you like that type of category, then I suggest any book by Sydney Sheldon.
My favourite is If Tomorrow Comes.
There is also The Other Side Of Midnight
Windmills of the Gods.
I hope you will find them and enjoy reading them.

I have never read that book, so I wouldnt know what catagory it is in, but I like reading so try these:
Velocity by Dean Koontz
Anything by Katie Fforde
Love in the present tense..richard and judy book club.

i like anything by nicholas sparks...read the Notebook. Or read the Princess Bride by William Goldman. Its hillarious!

Since I've read "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho I have been buying them in bulk and giving it to my friends. I ADORE that book and VERY HIGHLY recommend it!

i enjoyed 'the island'
at the moment i am reading 'coastliners' by joanne harris
if you like her - then read 'chocolat' that was the first book of hers i read
