l'v a 3com adsl router connected to my pc the internet works fine through it , l've tried wireless netwoking it to another pc l get an excellent signal but all it says is acquiring ip adress, the dhcp is enabled, the firewall settings are correct, l can't manually enter an ip adress because that doesn't work either,the ethernet card in the second pc is an asus wlan card. has nybody got any ideas please

This usually indicates WEP or WPA encryption is enabled or a MAC Filter is being used

your ADSL modem may be synced with the MAC address of your 3Com router. Try cloning the 3Com MAC address in your WiFi router so your ADSL modem will think it's still using the 3Com based off the synced MAC.
