I think...

It's not bad if you wish to be good at many things - it just means you are hungering to fulfill your inner potential.

If you don't finish/continue something - it means that it wasn't what your heart truly desires. Learn from those experiences.

It sounds like you are searching - keep searching and don't give up.

I ended up OK. I made a decision a long time ago to choose fulfillment over money - it was more important for me to be happy and to do what I loved, than to be rich. But since money is necessary in today's society, I also made a decision to be a good saver of money. After all, if money wasn't that important, then I didn't have to spend it. I've changed jobs 4-5 times, but I always saved. Not a lot, but enough so that I feel I only need to work part-time. I spend the rest of my time doing work that I can't and don't want to get paid for.

Specialization in jobs is important - but I think it's more important to be specialized in one's life.

What is the purpose of your life on this planet? What kind of life (not job) do you want to live? What kind of person do you want to be when you die? What are the things that you are willing to die for? What touches your heart enough to make you cry? Who are your heroes and why? (As you can see, my own interest is in asking big questions)

Know your self, to know your life.

If you can answer these questions, then you will know which direction to go. The career(s) will take care of itself. Think big, and the small will fall into place. But if you only think small (in terms of career), you might realize that you made a big mistake later on life.

If you can't answer the questions, don't give up looking for your own answers. If you give up, you will give up on your life.

I think that it is good to know how to do a variety of things--particularly relating to employment. I used to be a secretary by day, and work a couple of nights and weekends tending bar.
This was at the same time when I was doing some typing at home for a student, and for a lawyer.

Right now, I wish I had some experience anywhere in the health field--as all sorts of positions are open in that area.
