22 ft/sec = 15mph
1600 ft/sec = 1600*15/22 = 1090.909mph
360ft/sec = 15*360/22 = 245.4545mph

5280 feet in a mile
1 mph would equal
5280 divided by 60= 88 per minute
88 divided by 60 = 1.4666 feet per second

1600 divided by 1.466 = 1090.9mph
360 divided by 1.466 = 245.56 mph

Convert feet to mile first by dividing the x ft/s by 5,280 then multiply by 3600 to convert the second to hour. You get the answers in mile/hr.

1600 feet/sec = 1600*60ft /60 sec = 96000 ft/min
=96000ft *60/60 min = 5760000 ft/1hour = 5760000/5280 /hour
= about 1091 miles/hour

let say one feet =33 centimeter
(1600*33)/100=528 miter/second
528*60*60=1900800
-------------
(360/1600)*1900800=427680

ft/s (1 mile/5280ft) (3600s/hr)=m/h
ft/s (3600ms/5280fth)=m/h
ft/s (.682ms/fth)=m/h
multiply ft/s by .682 and you get m/h (the units all cancel out)
1600ft/s=1091.2 m/h
360ft/s= 245.52 m/h
