I seem to remember Dems getting very perturbed (rightfully so, IMO) when someone brought Chelsea Clinton into the debate a few years ago. Mary Cheney and Chelsea Clinton never ran for any political office, nor are they public figures.

I have no use for Cheney and don't have a lot of good things to say about him. However bringing the baby into it is not necessary.
