I bought and iPod 2nd generation 2GB nano yesterday, but when i connected it to iTunes, only a certain amount of songs were transferred to my iPod when I asked for all of them. I went out earlier and got my iPod replaced at the same shop with the exact sae model. It still does the same thing! Please help me!

I have enough room on my iPod to fill it with the amount of songs I want on it twice!

That happens to my ipod a lot. What you do is first double click the play list you want the songs in so that you have two screens, then you click the song or songs you want and drag them into that play list. there should be a little symbol on the side that tells you there transferring. then after they are all into your play list that you want, x out of itunes and start it up again it should say that your ipod is updating.

hope this helps!

First of all, make sure that the checkboxes next to all the songs are checked, because iTunes will only sync the ones that are checked.

Second, I don't know that this will help, but it certainly can't hurt. If you go into your iTunes tools, choose Consolidate Music Library. This takes all your music files and copies them into a structured folder layout, in one particular location, so it keeps the files from accidentally being moved, replaced, or deleted.

Last thing I can suggest would be to just wipe and restore the iPod from iTunes. When you plug it in to sync it, underneath the update button, there's a restore option. Do that, and try to sync again, and see what happens.

Hope this helps!

Make sure the songs have compatible extensions. If not, you'll have to convert them. I'm half asleep, but iPods play MP4 and it won't upload songs it can't play.
