Does bleeding ALWAYS occur when the hymen is broke (popped cherry)?

I say no...not every girl bleeds and that a hymen can be broke from an accident or tampon insertion, not only from intercourse.

No not all girls bleed yes the hymen can be broken prior to intercourse by a variety of things, including accidents, or numerous other activities such as horseback riding, or gymnastics.

You have it right. Not every woman will bleed when her hymen is broken. It seems over that past several hundred years the density of that tissue has been steadily decreasing and it is easily gotten rid of. Simple strenuous physical activity can tear the hymen, and yes tampons will almost always do it. As the tissue has become so thin in most women, it rarely bleeds and many never even know it is gone.
