I dont get it, what makes a good actor, and how can you?

judge amonst the people who have been doing it for awhile, in other words, the "majors"?

A good actor/actress is someone who pretty much looses him or herself in the role. Becomes the character instead of simply acting as the character. If an actor engulfs you into the screen with the performance, he/she is a good actor. If the actor can make u feel the emotions, he/she is a good actor.
