there are several options:
wash them, there are an amalgam of powders and products to remove odor, Dr. Scholls inserts, stuff in newspaper to "soak up" moisture from inside of shoe, etc.
Wash your feet first, well. What ever you do, WEAR SOCKS. A smelly shoe, may be your feet but more likely it's bacteria or staff, so if you wear your "stinkies" without socks, you run the risk for infection.

Sprinkle the insides with baking soda or tie some activated charcoal in a piece of cloth and put the bags in your shoes, overnight.

Febreeze them every night or Dr. Scholls has a powder you can put in your shoes to make them smell better. That or get insoles that are odor eaters. I have the same problem lol.

You've had lots ofgood suggestions so far but no-ones mentioned this one ....
stick them in the freezer overnight. It kills the bacteria that causes the odour.
And to keep them fresh, odour eaters really do the trick and willkeep themfresh for 3months.
