Honesty, creativity and someone who isn't going to be caught up in all of the mud slinging. I also want some who is a God fearing individual that prays and seeks God's guidance before making any decisions.

HONESTY! is first requirement! and integrity! however, we in america have been saying this for over 200 years and what has it gained us? nothing! lyalty to family? yes! willingness to help others like the poor, elderly, and disabled in america? yes! a man or woman who is willing and able to really!!! put the interests of the nation before their own ego is something we need! this person needs to have a good background in politics and a good, realistic view of how america is doing in the eyes of the rest of the world, and be able to deal with a crisis in a mature manner!

To be a responsible individual and not be gung-ho about going to war. Someone that is a smooth talker and actually cares about the public, despite different religions and nationalities.And shows the public with acts of kindness that he really does care.

to just straight up tell us the truth and quit hiding everything from the people, even if it hurts us we should know everything. and of course america needs to quit attacking every other country that pisses us off. and i also think if your going to lead a country sometimes i guess you have to lie, but nonetheless honesty would be great.
