well religious conservatives should speak their mind as well as others. degrading people other than yourself should not affect you in anyway.
most the time people aren't specifically talking about one person, and in a vague since Don't try and take anything personal. There is probably less harm intended on you than you could have possibly imposed on someone else. This site is full of good and bad questions.. silly and serious. P&S is about surveying peoples thoughts. humbly state your opinion and go on to another question. This is not a debate forum either... although some may disagree...

Just figure out a niche of where you belong and speak your mind, without imposing ideas... and im sure nobody will ever intentionally harm you...

Surprise Surprise Surprise!
Guess what.
I'm not a Liberal. And I'm far closer to a Religious Conservative than you'd guess.
But my answers don't show that, now do they. Cuz why? Cuz I have a sense of humor. And I don't believe in using this site for political purposes. This is just for fun here and it is one of my favorite venues for stress relief.
So, whatcha think 'bout that, honey pie?
:-)

I agree that most attacks are a two way street, and this is not a political section, most people are just here for fun.

lol I'm a conservative. Your question is exactly the problems with liberals-you are always on the defensive rather than offer solutions.

just chill out. we're all entitled to our opinion, whether you like it or not. I'm liberal, and I know it's frustrating, but seriously man, their opinions aren't going to change any more than yours are. just laugh it off.

Just sayin'.

Ignore them and they'll go away, pretty much treat them the same way you'd treat a crazy person who approached you on the street.

they're not much of a challenge, many of them can't even discuss the book, they haven't read it, they get bits & pieces meted out by some pastor with an agenda, kind of pathetic really.
