It really depends on the occasion, the quality of the wine or champagne and if you're eating food with it. Celebrations call for champagne, food usually calls for a nice bottle of wine.

wine out of the two but i prefer beer. champagne is a hit or a miss. some of it is good but a lot is nasty.
