what are some beautiful towns in the eastern usa (east of the mississippi) that look historical and have lots of old brick buildings with elaborate facades and are nice to stroll down and would look nice in a movie about old times, or about britain, etc?
kinda something like kingston ontario or port hope ontario or halifax, but in the united states not canada

Portland, Maine may have the look you want. You might also consider some old southern towns like Savannah or Charleston.
