My last drs appt (the 23rd) they told me I was 50% effaced, but not dialated any yet... then last night, I felt like I couldnt do enough in the babys room, and it felt like there was tons to do, like I packed her diaper bag w/ her coming home outfits, and diapers and stuff, and I got her carseat ready to be put in the car, I tried to get everything organized, and it still didnt feel like I was getting enough done... and her movements have been stronger...but a little less frequent. not like a bad "not so frequent" just not as much as she used to. could labor be soon? my online tracker told me that 80% of woman deliver between now and their due date... I just want to hear your opinions and see if you think I might be getting closer to labor... : ) thanks for the input!

I'm 35 weeks and 2 days... my mom delivered me when she was 35 weeks...I dont know if that has anything to do with anything, just thought I'd add it.

labor could be in the very near future because it always seem like close to your delivery date you turn into a neat freak and not just regular neat but obsessive neat so just make sure everything is packed and you are ready to go.

For the last 6 weeks of my pregnancies I felt the same way you are feeling. I delivered each of mine at 39 weeks. I always felt there was so much to do and I could never get everything done. I was always crying about it, I feel like a dork for being that way, but it is just normal for some people to have "nesting". It was the same with all three of mine even though I knew what to expect. Just hang in there because it will be here before you know it. Congratulations!!

labor happens when you body is ready, dont rush it. I was 4 cm dialted with my daughter for two weeks before i actually went into labor, luckly my labor was only 4 hours long. Just take some time out to rest, you are only 35 weeks.

I know its exciting, but don't rush it. It will happen when the baby is ready, not you. What you are going through is normal and I would expect that you will deliver close to your due date and not before. Good luck to you and your "hopefully" full term baby.

It will happen when it happens- relax. If you are nesting now it won't be long. I was cleaning closets and washing outside windows on a chair before my daughter was born. Walk a lot if you are in a hurry.

they will not deliver you before 36 weeks. they will stop your labor, just so you know. since you aren't dilated, you could walk around for weeks before you have the baby. i was dilated for at least 3 weeks before i had my first.
