I wouldn't think any less of them for doing it. I perhaps would admire them a little bit more, depending on the circumstances. If someone is willing to be honest with you about things that they are not proud of then that is pretty cool. Of course, if they were just boasting about it then I wouldn't rat them out or anything but I would think less of them in that case, and I would seriously think about if they were worth staying in a friendship with.

It depends. If they did it a few times in high school I weren't think worse of the person. It they had that disorder where they cronic shoplift I would feel sorry for them and try to get them some mental help.

I would think they are a thief. Stealing partners with lying. Lying destroys trust. Lack of trust destroys friendship. That person needs some help, hope, and prayer.

I would think they are driving up prices and that they are really really stupid for telling me.
