Nope...You have The Manny Ramirez show back for the 2007 season. The man who will hit 40 homers and 120 ribbi's and will be put on the waiver list and with all the little distractions that go along with him will be back in beautiful Fenway for another year. Tune in as he dogs a pop fly , recount his discontent with the front office and revel as he is near the league leaders in rbis the whole times hes doing it.
I like Manny I really do. Probably when he goes to Cooperstown he will have a problem with his plaque or something else.

Here in lies a problem with any form of Manny Trade. He is overpaid! No team is willing to take him unless the RED SOX throw in some money to cover some of his salary (i.e. Rangers and A Rod to the Yanks) ....The Red Sox are NOT willing to do this.
Now pound for pound you would need someone to match Mannys Offensive production....... This just isn't gonna happn either. Only a hand full of players can do what Manny can do at the plate and team just don't give away talent.
As far as him going to the National league....NOPE. They don't have DH's in the National League....No National League team will want him in Left Field..LOL...He just isn't a defensive talent! There are hundreds of players who play left Field better that Manny.
If he goes anywhere it will be in the AL....But I don't even see that happening. The Red Sox talk trade every year...but they can't get what they want for him so he is stuck in Boston til his contract expires. -Playbookcritic

How many times will I have to say this? MANNY WILL NOT BE TRADED. Many Ramirez will not leave the Sox until his contract ends in two years.
Hopefully, the Red Sox will give him an extension 'till 2010 so he can stay with David Ortiz

This is insane, Manny will not be traded, there is no team out there that could give the Sox approximate value for Manny (his output is incredible). Not only will they lose his bat, but without him opposing pitchers will simply pitch around Ortiz. Therefore trading him will result in the loss of two bats out of this lineup. Not going to happen. Manny will last the whole season, and will not be traded.

It's hard to say who Manny will be traded for, but I do believe he'll be traded. I think Boston is finally tiring of "Manny being Manny". If the BoSox are smart, they wouldnt trade him to any AL team. Perhaps the Braves who have shopped Andruw Jones would be interested.

Well I think the Redsox are making a HUGE mistake about maby trading Schilling next year. He is the most coragous man ever in Redsox history. And you how Manny is. They're just seeing Manny being Manny.

hmm....I doubt it. i mean every season it's the same thing...they say they're going to trade manny and that manny wants to get trade or whatever....but when time comes to the trade deadline nothing happens so ya they say there going to trade manny but nothing going to happen. By the way...nobody really wants him...he may be good but is overpaid. Why would you trade away one of your best offensive players on the team. GO SOX!!!

Look at the HR, RBI, and AVG. numbers he has put up in the last ten years. He looks like a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame when he retires. I'm sure the Bosox know this, and believe Manny has another five strong years left in him. He's going to say in Boston for a while.

Why would they trade Manny? I know he always has a controversy around him, but at the end of the season you can check his stats and he always is hitting .300 plus, 30+ homeruns, 130+ RBI's.

He will be traded. But it will be done at the deadline, not at the beginning of the season. He wants to go to the Yanks but that's not going to happen. A future team for him could be the Cardinals or the even the Cubs.
