i recently changed pills from Marvelon to Femodene. I've been on the femodene pills for about 2 months now. At the start of my second packet i missed 2 of my pills (thursday and friday) i took them both on friday evening and had sex with my boyfriend that evening, then my saturday one at the normal morning time. On saturday morning i had what looked like a period, it stopped after 2 days as i continued taking my pills, but now, one week later i've started having a light brown/pinkish discharge that's been going on for about 2 days now. It's not heavy enough to be a period, it's like brown and pink coloured stuff mixed with regular white/cream discharge. It's not heavy, just noticeable when i go to the loo and it's not irritable or itchy or anything. Is it just my body reacting to the new pills or something? hope you can help.

You should never take a missed pill the day late, or two in one day - you could be pregnant.

Hi Hun
It sounds to me that it is your body reacting to the change but if your in the slightest bit concerned telephone your doctors and ask the speak to the nurse and she will tell you all.
I am however very happy to hear that your off that horrible pill Marvelon its a high risk pill for blood clots and have had 20 of my friends go through problems with it.
Love and hugs

Its probably break thru bleeding since you missed 2 of your pills. By taking the pill your body keeps a certain hormone level then by missing 2 of them the hormone level goes down causing the break thru bleeding. It should stop once your body adjusts again.

it could be that you had to take two at the same time. i wouldn't think it's anything to worry about. i use a pill called yasminelle that i would highly recommend if you wanted to change again.
