I have been having awful morning sickness that happend all day long and losing or not gaining any weight and very tired, because of my past history my doctor sees me every 2 weeks for now (but this last appt he wanted to wait 3 weeks, and that will be next wednesday, so...I am anxious) and I had several ultrasounds already, We saw our baby and heartbeat, so I am more confident that everything is going great......but at the same time I am little worry since my symptoms are almost gone, and sometimes I don't feel pregnant at all!! I am just having a little bump and I am still able to sleep on my tummy, should I stop now!! I don't want to keep doing it if is not good for my baby!! Please just need some feedback!!!!!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!

Your symptoms should start disappearing now. By 14-15 weeks you should also notice your belly popping out, and an increase in your energy levels. You will have to urinate less frequently.

As to sleeping on your belly, you'll know when you have to stop - it gets very uncomfortable and you won't want to do it anymore. You can't hurt the baby sleeping on your stomach. It's just gotten uncomfortable for me recently - last night I woke up uncomfortable because I had rolled to my belly. It's good to get used to sleeping on your side, but it is also good to get the best sleep possible. So, if that's how you sleep for now, that's fine.

You should be fine sleeping on your tummy. I am now 6 months pregnant and slept on my belly until about 3 weeks ago when it became very uncomfortable. I don't believe that it will cause any problems to the baby, it is just not very comfortable after a certain point. Don't worry, but do discuss with your doctor.

The cool thing about the second trimester is that you suddenly feel like you could conquer the world. It's not unusual for most pregnancy symptoms to disappear, and it's the time that women usually have the most energy.

Don't worry about sleeping on your tummy. It's perfectly okay to do that all the way up until the time it's just too uncomfortable for you. It won't hurt you baby at all.

You'll be okay as long as you can tolerate it. Your body will let you know when enough is enough. I am still slightly able to rest on my stomach for a little bit and I'm 24 weeks. As you get farther along, the best way is on your left side but you won't kill your baby if it is on the right side. Sleeping on your back in the last trimester is not a good idea. As long as you can stand sleeping however you do, you'll be okay.

Good luck, sleep tight.

You really only have to start worrying about how you sleep after 4 months. Then you should sleep on your left side (first choice) right side (only other choice). Dont worry about the loss of the morning sickness, your are right on time for the usual reduction of this symptom..... Are your breasts still tender? Are you still tired? are you still crabby for no reason? You should go to whattoexspect.com and sigh up for the free membership there and you can look up all kids of things that will make you feel better.... The book is also really good.

Good luck!

Hey, with my daughter I was able to sleep on my tummy for about 5 months into pregnancy, I am 14 weeks now, with my second and still able to. The baby will let you know. I had that worry with my first and thats what my doc told me, if baby doesnt like what your doing, he or she will tell you. So just keep doing what your doing. Take care

OMG does this bring back memories!...with my two year old I had morning sickness for 8 months. Just about everything bothered me, fruits/veggies/bread/cereal/dairy all made me sick and would not stay more than one minute just enough time to make it to the toilet. All I ate was meat and drank plenty of water (since water was the only thing I could have) I was able to sleep on my stomach until the morning I had him.

with my second (who's 4 mons now) my morning sickness only lasted for six weeks, and I was able to eat everything. With him I was unable to sleep on my stomach after my 24wk checkup and everytime I went to bed on my side I always ended up on my back. And as for you not feeling like you're pregnant thats perfectly NORMAL!! Congrats and good luck! God Bless you and yours.

It's fine to sleep on your tummy - you can't crush the baby. The reason why it's not recommended is because it's just plain uncomfortable. I know they say it's best to sleep on your left side. I try, but usually wake up on my back.

you will know when its time to stop sleeping on your tummy, you can feel it. I remember the first night I couldnt, it was so difficult!! I ended up putting a pillow between my legs and sleeping on my side. but your baby will tell u to stop sleeping on ur tummy when they start to poke out... good luck!!
