I think that all the Texas teams are the teams to beat because they have the best records. Does anyone else agree? At least I know that Dallas is the best team up to date and they are on a winning streak. Avery Johnson is the best coach and if you have a star player like Dirk Nowitzki there is no stopping them. Please Comment!!!

I think the Mavericks will win it all this year. But it wont be easy coming out the Western Conference with Houston, Phoenix, and San Antonio. Dallas is the league's best team with the league's best player (Nowitzki) and the league's most underrated player (Howard) I don't see them losing in a seven game series against anyone. But as we've seen over the years, the Spurs are a different team in the playoffs, so they could possibly knock my Mavs off. Plus a healthy, rested Yao Ming will be returning to the Rockets down the stretch and in the playoffs, so the West is going to be tough. The East is Detroit's to lose. Washington is up there with the Pistons as far as wins, but I don't see them beating the Pistons in a seven game series. I think we'll see the Big D-Motown NBA Finals matchup we should have seen last year.

at least i know that someone else out their has it right in saying that the best player in the leauge is dirk and that avery johnson is the best coach and now all you need to add is nowitzki for MVP yeah so to get to your question any one of these texas teams could easily do it (houston yao-mcgrady.) (spurs-parker-duncan-ginobli) and (mavericks-terry-nowitzki-howard-stackhouse-dampier) but my guess is the mavs they are so stacked and so talented i just don't see any team in the playoffs that can take them down!
