It sounds like one of the keys on the keyboard is stuck down. Try striking each key once to make sure it's loose enough to pop back up again to find the stuck key.

Another possibility is that you may have the keyboard and mouse switched (if you're still using a PS2 mouse/keyboard).

If it is a stuck key on the keyboard and you can't get it fixed, then you probably need to replace your keyboard.

just reboot the computer (turn off/on).

if that doesn't fix it, check to make sure no keys on the keyboard are being held down (as in by sticky pop, etc) if a key is held down, depressed, it will max out the characters and just give you beeps when you try to do anything.

worse case....keyboard bit the dust. grab another and plug it in, simple as that (when computer is off of course).

It almost sounds like you're trying to press more then one key at the same time.
Maybe there is a glitch, and it's just time to get a new one.

no guys i think he activated the sticky keys, and a reboot won't do!
thi is it:
My Computer>Control Panel>Accessibility Options>Keyboard>StickyKeys, uncheck use StickyKeys.

and

My Computer>Control Panel>Accessibility Options>Keyboard>StickyKeys>Settings>Keyboard shortcut, uncheck Use shortcut.
so it won't happen again

You need to reboot.

If that doesnt work, shut down - unplug the mouse and keybord and reboot

If that doesnt work, borrow somebody else's keyboard and reboot

If that doesnt work, wait til the pro's come - your computer is f*cked
