Family of four (all adults) going to Disney World for one week. Need recommendations for shuttle/taxi service from airport to Orange Lake Resort and from Orange Lake Resort to Kennedy Space Center and from Orange Lake Resort to Disney World parks (multi day pass??), what is the best way for transportation because I know how parking is at Disney World.

My inlaws live in Melborne area and I've learned alot about the area with dozens of trips to Disney & Sea World.

To the Kennedy Space Center your better off renting a car. Because its quite a ways and a taxi might get expensive. The resort its self will most likely have shuttle service to Disney. Parking at disney isnt that bad unless your parking at Magic Kingdom. If you do drive Park at Epcot and use the Monorail system. Keep the taxi number on your cell phone if you take one, the driver has cards he can give you, and the resort will call one for you if you call the front desk.

Sometimes there are shuttles from hotels. You could take one of those but expect it to take about an hour longer than what you expected. Renting a car is probably your best bet. I would get to one park earlier than it opens and you should find a good parking spot. If you want to change parks then you can get on the monorail.(easiest way) or you can go on the disney buses for no charge at all. Hope this helps!

I would suggest you rent a car. You seem to have a lot of travelling planned, and you will definitely save by renting. Disney parking is not that bad at all. Even with paying the $12.00 or whatever it is to park, you will still save over the cost of other transportation.

When you park your vehicle in the Disney parking lot, you only need to walk to the end of the row where you are parked, then a tram comes to shuttle you to the park entrance.
