Of course it rots the brain. All you need to do is look at the people today. The Nazis are infamous for their propaganda but the brainwashing that comes out of the TV today is beyond anything that they could have dreamt of. It is one of the curses of the modern age.

however all media contaminates the brain with ideas and information.
Big brother and the race row, but nothing much was said when Mr Jackson called someone white trash. (So I understand).
take all media with a pinch of salt.

What do you mean by contaminate? if you mean influence then yes just like everything else in life.
If you mean contaminates innocence then that's debatable but i would say yes it probably effects the Innocent in a negative way.
If you mean contaminate in a chemical sense... emm no.
If you mean desensitizes yes but only as far as TV is concerned (unless you are mentally unstable).

It does and its not until you have watched a few documentries on how the advertisers and prog makers go about manipulating and brainwashing us that you realise just how clever they are and how easily we can be drawn into seeing,thinking and believing what someone else wants us to.This isnt any paranoid conspiricy stuff but how tv has evolved into the most powerfull tool/weopon ever!.
