i ask or answer something and they are rude and put me thumbs down?

They do that to me, too......and for no reason.....it used to bother me, but now I just ignore them

I usually only put thumbs down when someone answers a question rudely. There are certain ways of putting things nicely, even if it's not a positive answer. Just try to answer the question as your opinion, and don't act like peoples view are wrong.

There are people who are so insecure in themselves and that insecurity is seen in so many other behaviours that they demonstrate. Once I asked my coworker about something( she has been working in the same job for last 10 years) but as she didnt know the proper answer, she made me look like I asked stupid questions.That way she didnt have to say 'Im sorry I don't know, but I will look it up' or something like that.
I figured that whatever the other person does, is not because you are good or bad, it's because there's a lot that goes inside that person's head and with their experience and the attitute that they carry about life in general rules how they behave. So if you are hurt by those attitudes or behaviour, I suggest you hold on and be true to yourself and do the best that you know. Don't let those people rule your life. You are the master of your life so shape it the way you want it to be. What we think we become.And we have amazing ability to become what we really want. Good luck.
THE THUMBS DOWN IN YAHOO ANSWERS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO ALL THAT WE HAVE TO FACE IN LIFE. IGNORE IT.

There seems to be an epidemic of meanness and snottiness going around. I think people just enjoy putting others down so they can make themselves feel better about themselves. I try to avoid other people as much as possible.

Because, there unhappy with there self, for example... when you get up in the morning, and your hair sux and you where something you don't like, see how you feel? and when you get up and your looks hot and you have hot new outfit, and you feel awesome personality is diff. eh? now some people have bigger prob. then outfits or hair, like there over weight, or hadn't talk to there mother in over a ear or etc. all the bad things manifest to being just mean. hope I helped' and don't let them get you down... you just stay happy.

I am sorry to hear this,I am having the same problem with some people that I have known for a while and thought they were my friends.But even they cant wait to screw us.People have their "Own Agenda"and we`re just another steppin stone to get them wherever they want to go,it go both ways,remember that.I was not mean now to you.

Don't worry about it. Sometimes people put you down to make themselves feel better...don't think everyone is like that tho...Some people are actually on this site to help others instead of criticize there actions.
