I have a family who is lazy. How can encourage that person to be more helpful round the house without shouting at them?

try to involve them in your house work start off by asking for help to fold the washing then maybe help with making the bed then start introducing who's turn is it to do the washing up. take turns in cooking the tea and so on it is a slow process but it does work i get help myself around the house now and it is great. good luck. x

You say family but you thenrefer to that person ---book yourself a holiday, go stay with a friend- leave the larder empty the clothes unwashed and the room untidy........when you come back if there is no change then that person does not deserve you..
