I have come to the same conclusion that you have. I have made up my mind to stop voting for Republicans that spend worse then Democrats. I just havent quite figured out where that leaves me in the voting booth. I guess ill have to "write in" someone in the future. There are no true conservatives anymore. Only bright spots that get quickly over run by the special interests.

Because once in office, a politician is faced with the cold reality of balancing a budget, and doesn't have the will to cut existing programs and increases spending in other areas, creating debt.

They are lowering taxes... for the top 5%, just not the rest of us. The cuts are for the people who paid campaign funds to them.
Bush got recorded speaking to his constituents once at a fund raiser - "The haves... and the have-mores".
