I love them. My husband loves them. That's all he's ever had, starting with the 197? something or other, moving on to the GPZ1100 and then to the ZX-11's, and currently on the 12.

My first sportbike was the 04 6R, and I love it. I did have to make a few mods because I'm short, but I just love it.

I'm one of those who are brand loyal for no particular reason. When I went for my first sportbike I didn't really shop around - I zeroed in on Kawi's and looked no further.

But I'm very happy with it. I understand they've made some changes for 07 and I have no idea what they are, but I'm sure it's all good.

I haven't ridden one so I can't comment on that. I'm sure its fine.

Personally, I don't like the looks of the newest model. I've sat on one and I really didn't like the fit of it either. The tank felt a bit too wide to me. Keep in mind, I ride a Daytona 675. That thing is tiny compared to most bikes so I'm sure thats throwing me off a bit.

In the end, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the current 600's. Just fine the one that you like the best and feel the most comfortable on.

To the guy who said Suzuki's - Keith Code's school uses only Kawasakis....so I guess they are better?? Who ever PAYS THEM to USE those bikes is why they use them...duh!

I bleed green. Ive owned Kawis all my life, as well as Hondas, Suzukis and one Yamaha. I always come back to Kawis... While the fit and finish may not be top quality, the engines are nearly indestructible, and the handling is phenomenal.

Really, the bikes are getting to be so close in comarisons, that it really comes down to personal preference and what you like. So, if you like Kawi, go with Kawi!

It really depends on what you like... like the guy above stated. I for one am not very fond of Kawi's. To me, it seems like the fit and finish on the bikes as well as build quality is pretty bad. To prove my point. Go to a dealer and grab a piece of the faring on a zx6 and see how much it moves..then grab a Yamaha or Honda and do the same thing and you'll see what I'm talking about.
But again, whatever floats your boat. If your looking at the zx6, 600rr, R6, and GSXR600... you really cant go wrong with any of those bikes.

all the bikes are so close these days its all about what trips your trigger. If i was going to buy a 600 I would buy the triumph just so I would not be in the crowd of others

They are great bikes, I like the Suzuki GSXR's better, most all of the racers use GSXR. Go look at Kevin Schwartz's Racing School & you will see.

You will be better off with the GSXR 750 or 1000cc.
