The current president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) is Gordon B. Hinkley. He, those in the first presidency, and the members of the 12 Apostles of the church all live in Utah (in or around Salt Lake City.)

All are human...no martians or other non-Earth aliens walk among them.

http://lds.org/portal/site/LDSOrg will tell you all you want to know about the history of the church and its role today. This is the official site of the church...accept no other as authorative.
