It is actually a poor conductor of electricity. It is mainly water, which is also a poor consuctor, but has other dissolved componets. Chief among these are the calcium and chloride ions, which improve its conductance.

Most liquids are insulators and milk being one of them (the exceptions being mercury and gallium)

As the man above said it is a poor conductor - which in physics speak means an insulator.

Milk is a conductor because one can feel heat on touching the surface of milk or during a sip. Where there is heat there is electricity or vice versa. Further, milk contains water, which is a good conductor !!!

I think milk is a conductor, as pure water is not a conductor of electricity.
