I want to try out for a role in a movie but I have no idea how to. Please help!

Pick up a trade magazine and look for open auditions or see about getting an agent. Another good thing to do is sign up to be a movie extra (there are companies that do this - you fill out a form, they take your picture then they call you when something that might suit you comes up). It doesn't pay much but it gives you really good insight into the movie making process. good luck!!

You first have to be in little plays, then when you've done about 10 or 15 you get a agent who can get you into movies.

Contact your local film commision. Google your state plus 'film commission"
call tehm to find out movies being filmed in your area. call them and ask who is teh agent casting for that movie...call the agent and see if you can audition.

You have to have a portfolio, and an agent, and audition. It is hard to gt into a movie, you can't just do it like that.
