I use Shareaza and have downloaded numerous files video, music etc. When I log on I can see those files but if I search for them using the windows search I cannot find them? Even if I look in hidden folders?

If the files are not complete they are stored in the incomplete downloads folder.

They are not stored as the file name but as a long list of various letters and numbers followed by the extension .partial.

E.g. WDRT53HYUINGFH7DRTN.patial

In shareaza from the tool bar select tools then select downloads fom the list on the left. The window on the right will show you where the files are stored and allow you to change the destination directories.

I use lime-wire and i suppose it is pretty much the same,when a file has downloaded click on the type in the library eg. video,music etc,then you should have an explore option,select this and it should open up a new window with your down loaded files in it..select them and select to move this file,then put it in your music or video folders...
