Well Lady Macbeth manipulates ("Pour my thoghts in thine ear") to kill Duncan so he could be King, also Duncan went to Macbeth's house and stayed over for the night. Lady Macbeth was going to kill Duncan but he reminmded her of her father so she couldn't kill him, she came out and gave Macbeth the dagger he went in and killed him (Lady Macbeth kind of drunk the guards outside Duncan's room and after Macbeth killed Duncan they put the daggers in the guards hands and dirty them with blood so they looked as if they were the murderes).
Hope this is useful, I studied Macbeth for my IGCSE's so I think I know what I'm talking about. Wish you luck!!

Lady M. drugs the attendants in Duncan's bedchamber. While they're snoozing, Macbeth goes up there and stabs the sleeping Duncan to death.

That's about it.
