I have a fancy dress event coming up soon and i am stuck for ideas! I will be on horseback and wanted something to incorporate us both! Can anyone suggest anything? I have had the usual jousting knight etc.

Sleepy Hollow....Headless horseman and the witch he takes down with him.
Circus athletes.... You could ware a feather costume and he can ware the glittery costume. You could even dress the horse ie, Feathers on the rains. It would look very glitzy.
Zoro...You know the masked guy in black and that woman he saves.
Pantomime.. You dress as a boy and he dresses as a girl and the horse can have a clashing polka dot throw.
Cesar & Cleopatra (they ride horses and they were lovers)
Princess Mononoke . ..put some fake antlers on the horse. (Forget about it if you haven't watched it, it hard to explain)
Red Indians.
Hercules, Megan and the flying horse
Indiana Jones & whats her face
Fariy, Elf and Unicorn
Adam & eve lol.. ware tight cloths which is a skin colour and stick leaves on it.

If your horse is white you could dress as a policeman and go as PC Storey and the legendry Billy the heros of the 1923 FA cup final

How about a Native American Indian warrior and princess? Long black braids? A black witches wig can be parted and made into brades. Indians wear beads and feathers and warriors wear war paint -- all fairly easily obtained in fancy dress shops, I should think.

you could go as a riding legend a roman or cowboy or zoro or native indian a spaniard or some sort of horse soilder from history it sound fun if you ride side saddle you could go as a mermaid (thinking tail over the pommel) you would be like sitting on a rock eg the horse

Go as a cowgirl, that way no1 can say 'you dont really look like the person you are trying to be' or go as an indian and plat your horses hair ect. av fun x

there are to that come to mind
1 - Lady Cadiva - you'd have to wear a nude colour leotard
2 - Bunny Girl - wear a leotard (red) and Black tights. heels and bunny ears with cuffs.
both will look good
