SORRY this is so long lol. You can skip down to the summary/short and sweet sections if you don't want to read the whole thing.
You either like it or you don't, I've been playing a paladin since day 1 of release, I got one up to level 59, and then started a new one with a group of friends. My first one was retribution and personally I don't think that is the way to go with a paladin, if you want to do damage you are better off playing your rogue. I have since respecced her to full holy and gotten her to level 60. Although I have barely touched her since.
My second paladin, was created for a trio with my 2 friends, I was the tank, another created a priest to be main healer, and the third was a rogue for dps. We were awesome together. I was probably the only paladin running around with seal of fury as my main seal, this was pre patch 1.9 in which they replaced that seal with the buff righteous fury (which essentially nerfed tanking against single targets, because a judgment of fury + consecration held aggro better than any attack that a warrior could do).
I was rather pissed off at that point and ready to quit my paladin, but after sacrificing some of my survivability, and putting my points into holy dps, I figured out how to tank again. And was damn good at it too. So I continued to be a pally tank, main tanking every time I got the opportunity despite many who thought only warriors should be tanking. I just loved being different and proving myself to doubters.
After 1.12, and the expansion, I was able to spec into protection and have arguably as good of damage mitagation as a protection warrior and still tank just as well. Oh btw when I played healer in MC a few times holy specced, I was able to make #1 on the healing charts several times.
SUMMERY:
PLUSES: Pally's are great at soloing multiple mobs of their level or even above.
They can dps/heal/tank all at the same time.
They have excellent buffs/auras
If played right you can often make the difference between a wipe; and divine intervention is a great move if you get a bad pull that your group will be grateful for.
MINUSES: Not a main dps class.
Kill very slow when soloing.
Not very many "special attacks"- seals and judgments are pretty much all there is to paladin combat.
Paladins are considered by many as filler classes, and don't really fit the role of tank/healer/ or dps. I have had to argue my way into being the tank several times but I usually do not disappoint. Occasionally there are a holes that play like idiots and then blame the group failing on not having a "real tank", but thats rare.
SHORT AND SWEET - Stick with your rogue if you want a dps class, if you want to play a support class with good versatility stay with your paladin.

It does get much better. Paladins have many advantages like free mounts, but my favorite is that they can do everything from healing, to dps, to tanking... They're uniquely qualified to fulfill all roles. The only thing they can't do is range attacks, but most mobs can be put down without range.
And about that guy claiming he has a 78... he's obviously not playing WoW since he highest you can go is 70...

Paladins may well be lots greater useful then hunters while you're that on the factor of them. Hunters, in the event that they atre no longer survivale specced, ought to proceed to be at a distance or get killed. the undeniable fact that one adult men grow to be 3 stages above you won't help the two. additionally, if that they had extremely solid kit and you had no stamina on your kit, then they might definitely kill you. in recent times PvP is greater approximately how lots stmina you're stacking. Plate has a tendency to have greater stamina then mail, so paladins can oftentimes kill hunters. in particular because of fact paladins will consistently be overpowered because of fact of their bubble. Then they might definitely get top as much as you and kill you. winning in PvP does no longer mean thast they're greater useful. Paladins wehn they're retribution spec specialize at rapid kills because of Seal of Command result. It procs each and every few hits and deals a great quantity of harm. i say do no longer hardship approximately it. Hunters are in basic terms very godo whilst the enemy can not ge4t to them, and paladins definitely bypass any sort of slowing result. So surely particular, paladins can beat hunters. It in basic terms potential that they used Hand of Freedom and ran as much as you. no longer a great deal.

How can my entire party or group of friends join a Battleground together?
You can join the Battleground as a party or raid by forming the group and having the party or raid leader enter the queue by clicking the "Join as Group" button.
