Non-binding resolutions, debating global warming, and all kinds of other silliness that occupied their time and kept them from doing anything really harmful to the country? Should we be thankful that they didn't have the courage to come up with anything beyond a "non-binding" resolution?

This was a nice Tom-foolery to the American people who do not understand the checks and balances of the Constitution. Congress may make a law but it is not implemented until it passes Senate and is signed by the President. Remember all salaries are paid to the public representatives through tax payers money whether you make minimum wage or two hundred thousand a year. The first 100 hours solved little. One thing so far has been voted into law, raising the minimum wage. The ethics they proclaimed with lobbyists are out the door through loop holes according to the New York times. It didn't impress me one iota.

Yes. The first 100 hours were very productive. Now they can get on with more important things like Bush bashing, Cheney bashing, Republican bashing, church bashing, and bashing those who abhor bashing.
We've been needing more productive bashing in the congress for 6 years now. When they were a minority in congress, the bashing just wasn't as effective.
We're gonna bash and waffle and denigrate and obstruct and ...did I say bash? Yeeeearrrrrghh

the "first 100 hour" resolutions were passed weeks ago.. and non-binding just means polite.. more has gotten done in the past month than in the year before that.. but thanks for trying.

I think everyone should be grateful that not quite everyone has been brainwashed into supporting one party or the other.
