Check your user name. Some user names require extra information, for example somedomain/username or username@bellsouth.net.
Do you have caps lock on? Passwords are case sensitive. Do you have number lock on? Some people use the number keypad to enter their password, but they are just hitting directional arrows and not putting in numbers.
Your account may be locked out. After a certain number of tries the account freezes to prevent someone from trying to guess your password.
Have your password reset.

Ah... I've had this!

There are two answers to this - one general, one assuming you're using Firefox (which I highly recommend)

If this is happening on the internet, you may have cookies or javascript blocked for that site. The steps vary amongst the browsers out there, but it's usually:
Tools > Options > Security > Cookies (or Javascript).

Now, if you're using Firefox...

This occasionally happens when converting cookies and settings from IE - this page is a bit technical, but it does explain the steps.

Please take a look at your Question again? it says......... I keep getting asked for my password and after I enter it it asks again?.......

Can you be more open for us to help? what are you trying to open...... I would love to help but what password are you taking about? we all use password for many things..........?

Which password are you talking about ? your windows login password?your email password? some other password on some website?
