You think thats something how about mcdonalds i mean i dont eat there much for obvious health reasons. But every now and again i like to stop and man they have started serving these little boxes of fries. I mean now you pay almost 2 dollars for the size fries i used to get back in the 80s and early 90s for 1 dollar. Theve used there medium size large and super size to make us pay more for less and its getting ridiculously expensive! Im getting turned off of fast food lately and am finding that i eat at home a lot more. Taco Bell and Long John Silvers are the only two places i know that are still reasonable on prices. As for KFC you could almost go to Bob Evans or somewhere nice for what you pay to eat there chicken!

I don't know what KFC is doing to their portion sizes or their recipe either because it hasn't tasted the same since they started calling it KFC. I remember as a kid Kentucky Fried Chicken was the best (hands down). Now, not only are portion sizes smaller, but the chicken isn't as good. I would say you are right!

Smaller portions are beginning to happen now because obsesity is an actual epigemic in the United States, so fast food companies are downsizing their meals. They're giving the same number of pieces of chicken, just smaller pieces.

I believe it because they're doing the same thing at other fast food restaurants. The patties on the burgers are getting smaller and i notice i am biting into more bun than meat! And I can see them doing that to cut back on waste and costs, especially since the employees help themselves to the food and messing up orders, old chicken and so on is incorporated. So no, I agree, the chicken is getting smaller. And KFC got they nerves as high as they are, hell I'll go to walmart and get me a chicken dinner for cheaper than that...

THis happens everywhere in this day and age. It's called inflation. It sucks when you look back on it, doesn't it?
In mainstream economics, the word “inflation” refers to a general rise in prices measured against a standard level of purchasing power. Previously the term was used to refer to an increase in the money supply, which is now referred to as expansionary monetary policy. Inflation is measured by comparing two sets of goods at two points in time, and computing the increase in cost not reflected by an increase in quality. There are, therefore, many measures of inflation depending on the specific circumstances. The most well known are the CPI which measures consumer prices, and the GDP deflator, which measures inflation in the whole economy.

You should know what is called "inflation". Almost all restaurants face the same problem, either they increase the price or forgo the quantity of the foods, there is no two way out. Remember the price of coffee at most coffee shops had increase twice within a year? The fact is, either you pay more, or you get less.

KFC tortures chickens!!! Your small chicken peices are the least of my worries. The murder belongs on the chicken. I don't eat meat, at KFC, McDonalds, or buy from any store that tortures animals. I suggest you go eat at subway. (veggie delite) =]]
