gimme reasons for why you love biology?
and if you agree, is it just as real as the humanities?

Yes, I agree. It is just as real as the humanities. Biology explains living things and the humanities explain its society and the interactions inside and outside.
I love Biology simply because I think it is interesting and it would be fun to study. I was a Biology major in college. I loved studying anatomy back in high school and I was not disappointed in the college-level laboratory course (amid the smell), but the lectures were not as fun as I expected and I did not do too well on it.
I loved Ecology even more, though. I love something that is broad and involves field trips. Field trips (both for class and just backpackin' for the fun of it with friends) are really interesting when you see how well your friends and professors can catch snakes with bare hands. I guess things like these really bonded me to my friends.
I'm a full-time grad student in Epidemiology. I'm starting another bachelor's in Spanish with minor in Int'l Relations, part-time, although I hardly have the time to study and pass any classes in my part-time studies.

biology is a fun subject provided you like it.. =P
to explore the wonders of a life species, it's thrilling..
with regards to comparing whether it is real, biology is just theory..with practice on a real object, it'll make things easier to understand..

It's easy for me and plus I passed the coarse with an A+ and it has inspired me to become a doctor. I have one more year and then I'll go to UCONN for a medical degree.
