YES, I always go Barefoot in public. I started going completely Barefoot at age 16, after realizing how much I enjoyed walking Barefoot before I went to bed. From that point, my Barefooting
grew into going Barefoot outdoors everywhere and anywhere.
It wasnt easy in the beginning, but I developed as tough a Callus
to dumb remarks as I have at the bottoms of my Bare Feet.
I will never go back to using footwear.

Yes, although most of the time being in public doesn't affect the experience for me. Occasionally it can, depending on mood. I might be glad there will likely be numerous other people barefoot as well, or I might get a mild kick out of other people who react to my bare feet, but usually being in public is no more than a minor consideration.

I love walking barefoot everywhere I go. Hot weather or cold I will regularly be seen barefoot. I find shoes very uncomfortable. Nothings better than to feel the cool of concrete on the soles of my feet in the winter. Or the squishy tar of cracked pavement in the summer. In my opinion barefoot is the only way to go.

Only time I am barefoot in public is if I am staying at a hotel, and walking down the halls.

I don't know about in public but around my house I'm barefoot all the time!
I can't wait for sunny weather so I can start wearing flip-flops & going barefoot.

Yes, I've been doing it for ten years and don't intend to wear footwear ever again. It's not unsanitary, dangerous, disrespectful or ignorant; only in the US do people hold such bias against bare feet. Anywhere else, including in the Western world -Europe, Canada- do most people believe it's a healthy practice, and often it's seen as a sign of respect rather than disrespect. I only meet people who think it's gross occasionally here in Europe, nor are there any signs on store entrances, escalators or anywhere else for that matter except for construction sites/hardhat areas. Even in the US there are no actual laws prohibiting bare feet, please see source for proof :)

Sure I love going barefoot everywhere. I hate wearing shoes. Used to be, I couldn't wait untill I got home to kick them off and get comfortable and relax. Now I don't even bother to put them on in the first place any more. I highly recomend trying it. It feels great in all kinds of weather, its healthier for your legs, hips, and feet, and just plain care free and fun.

Oh no, and unless sunbathing or swimming I don't like to see others barefooted in public either.

Not walking in the streets or any public place where people eat or buy things. The beach is a more acceptable place to walk bare footed.

what is public, because you can be barefoot on a public beach but not a public street, that is just nasty.
