does anyone know what to do when characters on Sims 2 get stuck?

I am playing sims 2 and i hired a nanny and she got stuck right in fron t of my crib which my baby is in. I cannot move the crib or get past her. how do you get the nanny to move. She appears frozen but yet wipes her face every so often. Any ideas? THx

You should use the "Move Objects" cheat to move either the nanny or the cradle. Pause the game. Open the cheats window by hitting ctrl+shift+C and the type in move_objects on. You should then be able to pick up the nanny or the crib and move them somewhere else. Re-open the cheats window and turn the cheat off: move_objects off. Un-pause the game. If you moved the crib, eventually the nanny should move out of the space and you can move the crib back to where you want it. If you moved the nanny, you should be all set.

This has happened to me too. This should work.

While you are playing in the lot press Ctrl+Shift+C (there will be a text box at the top of the screen). Type move_objects on. Then press Enter. Go into Buy Mode and click and move the Nanny or Crib (which ever one works) to an area away from the original area. (be careful, with move_objects on, you can delete the people) The Nanny should stop what she was doing and then continue what she is supposed to do.

*note: if you just moved the Nanny and she gets stuck when she goes back to the crib, you need to move the crib to a different location

What I do is get into the cheat field (Shift, Ctrl, C) then enter "Move_objects on". pass into sell mode and additionally you would be waiting to opt for your sims. There could be a glitch in the game. You might have to create a whole new family. Or your computer is slow. I had to delete the Sims 2 from my computer because it took up too much space.

That happened to me once with the headmaster, eventually he left after i exited and came back. It sucks huh.
