yes you can, the antibiotics stops the pill from working as effectively. my friend has 2 children and both times she fell pregnant cos she didnt use other protection while using antibiotics and the pill.
u can take the pregnancy test 3 days before youve missed a period but the test is only about 70% correct. if you take it the day after you missed your period it would be much more effective.

The pill alone is only 98% effective and while taking Antibiotics you are always told to use a back up method... because your chances for getting pregnant are MUCH higher..

SO the answer is YES you can get pregnant... And if you want a baby then you should stop taking the birth control pill as it can cause birth defects in a fetus...

But more importantly you should discuss your want for a baby with him so that when you do get pregnant he isn't blind sided.

Yes you can, not all birth controls work. Sometimes people need stronger doeses and they are not 100%. Amoxcillin will weaken the strength of the birth control pill just like any anti-biotic. If you think there might be a chance you are pregnant now... stop taking them, get tested!

you most definitely can get pregnant whether you have an anti-biotic or not, my son is 29 months and i had been on the pill for 10 years before having him and i got pregnant on the pill and did not realize i was pregnant and continued taking the pill until i found out. there was no harm to my son, and you will know by your next missed period. good luck

yes you can. it happened to me and that's how i got pregnant with my second child. i was actually taking zithromax for pneumonia and it interfered with the patch. i would stop taking the pill and get a pregnancy test but because you've been on the pill your body may think it's pregnant so the most accurate way to know would be to go see your doctor.

you can test a week after your missed period

yes taking antibiotics, will decrease the effectiveness of birth control that's why doctors recommend using a backup method while on the pill.
