Yes, you can do this...

You need a device called a ROUTER...

This will let you hook both machines to the router, creating something called a LAN (Local Area network) and access the WAN (Wide area Network or Internet) via a means called NAT (Network Address Translation)...

This also gives you the additional feature of being able to share files and printers between the networked PC's.

Since the only device that physically hooke to the Internet is the Router itself, only a single connection is needed and only a single fee...

SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) Routers are now inexpensive items ($10-$50, some as high as $200) available at most consumer electronics and office supply stores... Even Home Depot now carries them! They are fairly easy to set up, but if unsure, you can have a local "techie" offer you assistance in this regard.

Just get internet on one and then get a wireless router for the other.

Do you already have a computer at home with internet connection? If so, then just go buy a wireless router for the 2 laptops.

this is easy
My home also we have one laptop and another desktop
Well the configaration has to be the same
but mind u only one connection can be used at a particular time
if this is supposed to be a Lan connection then its the easiest
just open Network connections and enter the IP address provided by the ISP into both computers
