I don't think I've ever heard that word used in a real conversation. The only times it comes up are tasteless jokes and when someone wants an n-word for white people. I've never heard anyone, white or black, say honky in a real conversation.

Yeah no not so much.
We were always the dominant ones, so we did not have to turn around and use the term as a new in-group idenitifer.
Certain people use "niggahs" in a very exclusive way, like, "I can talk about my own mother but you can't".
Women can call each other "The Girls", but in business, this is not tolerated when coming from men (And we can acll each other B****, and ourselves, but not tolerateit from men.
But since whites were never really disadvantaged, there has been no need to bond together and re-cycle the negative into a positive.

Sadly, I have heard some white people call other white people "honky" just as I've heard black people call other black people the "N" word.

some do but in general we do not. It would be the same if african americans called each other the n word...I know some do but in general they don't we are all people..

Personally, I am not into "name calling" no matter what my race. I call people by their given names and if I don't know it I say "miss", or "mr", "sir", "ma'am". NEVER a racial slur, thank you very much.

I don't ever recall so. We usually point out our national origins, like if they are Irish we call them Micky or if they are polish we call them Ski.
