Just me or did anyone else have a problem with the speeches that included foriegn language? I mean these awards were in U.S.A. right????

So let me understand correctly....

The Academy Awards chose to honour a foreign filmmaker, and his contributions to the world of entertainment. He didn't speak English...because he is a FOREIGN FILMMAKER!

With your thinking, that award should never have been given. And consideration for art should only be awarded to English speaking people.

Is your mind that small?

I agree. I think that it stinks that we seem to need to learn several different languages in America to even order coffee.
