If you are running Windows XP you could use NAT to forward requests to the live IP via port 3389 to the internal address of the PC. You can install RealVNC or UltraVNC on the computers and use that for remote control if you are not running Windows XP.
You could install firewalls at the two locations and set up a VPN tunnel between the two firewalls. Then you would access the PCs by their internal address. The VPN tunnel would use the external addresses.

I copied and pasted this from Microsoft help and support (for you), and it was easy I just searched "VPN."
To make a virtual private network (VPN) connection
Open Network Connections.
Under Network Tasks, click Create a new connection, and then click Next.
Click Connect to the network at my workplace, and then click Next.
Click Virtual Private Network connection, click Next, and then follow the instructions in the wizard.
