Yeah, I didn't think I could because I watch at least 5 hours a day, but then I went to Russia for 6 months and didn't have a television. And I lived! But as soon as I came back I got into my old 5 hour-a-day rut. So I'm thinking about, how you say "drop-kicking it out the front door".

I sure can live without TV.. right now I'm 19 but when i was 8 i used to live in my country and man it was fun living with no TV my parents and all of my family we would go to the river almost everyday and play games with the other people out side a park and we would go visit Friends and family members every day too. and we would wake up at 7 or 6 in the morning and it was so beautifull seen the sun coming up... i just miss those days a lot and now they even have TV over at the little town i used to life over at my country and every year that i go its just different and its not the same cause at nights there used to be people just walking through the streets and even older people would be out side and now there is no one out side cause they are to busy on the TV even little kids. and TV shows now more than they could you see a lot of violence one time i was in a friends house and the 10 year old kid he was watching this cartoon named Family Guy and it just has a lot of stuff that kids should so not watch
so sure can live without TV

I got rid of cable, it's great.
Outside of the hour of 24 I get on my 20 dollar Radio Shack antenna in HD, I just watch movies constantly.
I can go without TV, but I'd be hard pressed to give up my addiction to film.

There are a few shows I really enjoy watching, but most of the time I have the TV on for the noise.

Funny you should say that. Sometimes I do, and the most ironic thing of it all is that I actually study media, so watching television is part of the gig.
