That Sunshine food you were talking about in your other question...I have never even seen it. If it is anything like Marshalls ferret food it probably sucks just as bad. I recommend 8in1 and ZooPreem for proper nutrition. Here is an awesome website. I shop from it all the time. They are very reputable. They also offer ferret products at a discount.

Prcine is indeed pork...could you even imagine a ferret attacking, killing, and then eating a pig? when you buy food for a particular pet it should be made specifically for that animal. Ferrets in the wild would eat foul and rodents...maybe (and there is an emphasis on maybe) fish. The food you buy for your ferret should have stuff in it that a ferret would eat in its natural state.

Porcine is pork. I would go with a food that has chicken as the first ingredient. It has natural taurine in it, which ferrets need for their eyes and heart.

LOL, nothing bad.Porcine meat just mean it has pork and pork by-products or flavorings mixedin your ferret's food.
It's actually better for your ferret this way , providing more much-needed protein than regular dry pellets.
You have to be careful how much you feed your ferret though, as ferrets can easily gain weight from too much .
