I don't have a good idea when my last period actually was, only that when I start PMSing I am about to start my period soon. I didn't start, took a pregnancy test, and got a positive result. For a home pregnancy test to come out positive right away, how far along might I be at that point? (I can't remember the date of when my husband and I had unprotected sex either!)

For a test to come out positive you would be at least 2 weeks pregnancy wise. Basically the baby is about 2 weeks old that is. They judge your pregnancy from when your last period started though. Thats the method. For example I am 7 weeks along but I physically got pregnant about 5 weeks ago.
Hope this helps answer your question some there, and Congrats to you and your hubby!!!

You may be a month. Sprem can stay in a woman for up to 72 hours. You may want to go to the doctor to check. Sometimes there can be false positives.

I was 5 and a half weeks when I got a positve result. You could be at the same point. But since you don';t know your LMP, you should be offered a 'dating' scan.

There is absolutely no way for us to know with the information you've given us. You're doctor may be able to guesstimate, but you'll most likely have to wait until your ultrasound to tell.

You will have to go to the Doc. to get an answer, if you tell them you have no idea, they will do an ultra-sound.
