You ovulate on approx day 14 of your cycle (you count the first day of your period as day 1 of your cycle). But, if you have unprotected sex at anytime of the month you are still at risk of falling pregnant.

If you have a regular cycle ovulation is easier to be sure of. It can occur about 14 days after or 14 days before the onset of the next period. It normally lasts 3 days. the temperature method can show the rise in temp at the time of ovulation and it will stay up for three days A cold can show a rise in temp also, you would need to keep a regular check if you want to, in order to see a pattern

Most women ovulate in the middle of cycle. So , Day 1 is the start of your period, then around day 14 you will ovulate then day 28 you start your next period.

i am trying to concive, my cycles are every 24 days, so my ovulation is around day 12 (after i started my period)

Hope this helps!! :-)

Your most fertile time is 10 to 14 days after the 1st day of your period.(And remember that sperm can live up to 72 hours in a woman's body.)
