I have a 2004 BMW CI under warranty. Is there anyway i c an get some spare keys for my car ?

Your dealer should also be asking for registration to make sure you're the actual owner. Otherwise, anyone could ask for a key to your car. It's a security thing. Yes, it costs more because of the chip and programming needed, but that's b/c the chip makes it harder to steal your car.

unfortunatly, the only way to get keys is through a dealer. and as the preivous poster said, they are going to be expensive. Youre looking at a minimum 1 hour service charge to program the key... so $100-120

Modern car keys with built in chips have to be ordered from the dealer, and they are going to be expensive.
